Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ cup hot water
- 2 cups fresh or frozen wild blueberries
Instructions
- In a small saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg; gradually stir in water. Cook stirring constantly over low heat until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
- Stir in blueberries; cook, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Simmer five minutes.
- Serve warm over ice cream or cake. Refrigerate leftovers.
Notes
Makes about 1 and two thirds cups of sauce.
