The winner in our recent battle of wild blueberry desserts was Blueberry Pie and it easily beat the other finalist Blueberry Cake. The voting was done by followers of our Facebook page as each week they were asked to vote on one of two recipes. Some commented the choices were tough to make and on several occasions, some voted for both desserts.

The first berry battle started back in November. The deserts were chosen from the most popular recipes on our website and the top eight types where chosen at random for the initial battle. We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who voted.
