Bethany's Wild Blueberry Cookies
Blueberry cookies are truly a rare dessert so it is a treat to stumble upon such a recipe. We hope you enjoy Bethany's Wild Blueberry Cookies.
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg , beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups wild blueberries
In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and spices.
In another large bowl, cream together butter and sugar, then beat in egg. Beat dry ingredients into butter alternately with milk. Fold in blueberries.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 F 190 C for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on wire racks and store in tightly covered containners.
