
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
 - 4 large green cooking apples peeled, cored and finely chopped (4-5 Cups)
 - 4 cups sugar
 - ½ tsp ground mace
 - ½ tsp ground nutmeg
 - ¼ tsp ground allspice
 
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer for an hour, stirring occasionally until mixture is thick.
 - Spoon into containers and cover well.
 
Notes
Blueberry apple butter will keep in the refrigerator for up to three weeks. Yield 6 cups.
